FunDay Monday 2016 (June 6th!)

It promises to be another busy summer at the Oxfield Community Centre in Drumcliffe.  The big event of the year - the annual Oxfield Family Funday Monday - takes place on bank holiday Monday June 6th from 2 to 5pm.  Last year’s event attracted almost 1,000 people through the gates, and this year’s event promises to be just as good.  As well as some new attractions, the hugely popular Custard Pie puppet show returns as does the Oxfield Egg Throwing and Spud Picking Championships.  For the energetic kids, the hugely popular Junior battle of the Brave returns as do the annual favourites including the bouncy castle arena, DJ Scruffy Duffy disco and the Oxfield Tug-o-War.  There will also be a raffle on the day for an amazing prizes of a new Lawnmower (Viking Stihl) worth over €500 and two stand tickets to see Barcelona play Celtic in the Aviva Stadium on July 30th. So make sure you don’t miss this great family day out.
